Summer is well and truly here with a heatwave vengeance!
While working away in the heat my thoughts wandered to the seaside, there is sand, sunshine but mainly the sea, so this is exactly what inspired me for this months postcard.
The 'Sea' is quite a big topic so I'm hoping that it inspires your creativity.
For me it was fish and I like anything quirky, well that includes my drawings of fish. I spent a very happy time drawing my fish and while doing so I wondered how I should create them.
My thoughts went in 2 directions, the first being that you could embroider the designs (which look amazing), but I like to scrap bust as well, so I created some scrap fabric to make the fish in and I just love the look of them.
So why don't you grab your embroidery threads or your scraps and have a go at one of this months postcards.
